FERNANDO SPINER

Fernando Spiner is a screenwriter, producer and film director. He directed works for television such as Bajamar, la costa del silencio; Poliladron; Zona de riesgo and Cosecharás tu siembra, for which he received the Konex Award for “Best TV director of the decade”. He directed several documentaries such as El Ángel sin techo, as well as audiovisual works such as Balada para un Kaiser Carabela with Luis Alberto Spinetta, and Solo los Chicos with Fito Páez. Among his multi-award winning films are La sonámbula (Havana, Toulouse, Nantes and Korea International Film Festivals; two Silver Cóndor Awards), Adiós, querida Luna (Mar del Plata and Estepona Fantastic Film Festival, Spain) and his latest film, Aballay, el hombre sin miedo; which won eleven International Awards, eight Sur Awards, three Silver Condor Awards, and was selected to represent the country at the Oscars as “Best Foreign Film”.
