Elena (40) is an attractive woman who, after a great romantic disenchantment, is convinced that men only serve to complicate her life, and has replaced them with a collection of sex toys. Gerardo (45), the only son of a woman who still treats him like a child, is a successful professional who many years ago had to move to Madrid, where he lives with his girlfriend, twenty years younger. Like every summer, Gerardo visits his mother in Tenerife and witnesses the ridiculous death of Ema’s mother (10), Elena’s close friend. This situation will make Elena, Gerardo and Ema begin to bond, unaware that by overcoming blood and legal obstacles, they will become a family of three who choose each other.
