LISA—a neurotic attorney— takes a job at the weird NYC Divorce Hotel because her anger issues have seriously reduced her employment options. The Divorce Hotel’s mission is to guarantee a 2-day affordable divorce for separating couples, and its employees are just as complex as its clients. Lisa will have to deal with her coworkers who are like a close-knit family—if it weren’t for their love triangles and drama. Lisa will collide with Rick’s (the mediator) professional beliefs round-the-clock. Her constant clashes with him will result in the first truly honest relationship either one of them has ever had. Who would’ve thought you could find love in a divorce hotel? The clients will learn that it is better to be alone than in a dead marriage and sometimes we need a little help ending things.
